Project Woes 14/12/07

Well its the Final Semester, and As know al Final year students are required to work and Submit Projects,

Well Generally Most of the Students Look Into The fact that they have to do it from a Reputed company or Institute.

Our Project Woes Started Before our Final Semester, Me being From the ECE dept were Required to Submit the Project Group name and Abstract in the 1st Semester.

earlier we were asked to Decide Groups for the Final year Project , when it was decided many were scatted as 2-3-4 members in a group. So our Project Co-ordinator Stepped in and Forced us on the fact that Minimum requirement for a Project is a 3 Member group not a 2 member group.

we talked amongst ourselves and after Long battles and back byting the groups were selected, and During our Lab Final exams they really steamed up the engine by applying a new Rule which requires a student to submit the *abstract* of the Project in order to get the Hal Ticket to the Regular exam.

Every thing went haywire as ppl started going to companies rather than studying for Lab Exams, wasting precious time, and later we were told That no Company was good enough for us to Work in, and we are all required to do the Projects in College Premises itself.

I had submitted for College Premises, dat was that, many others battled to include govt companies but in vain they pleas were rejected, but sme were allowed.

exams goes on holidays pass the first day of 2nd semester starts

Our Project Co-Ordinator walks into the room and announces that all groups are required to perform the project at College premises, and all other projects will be rejected.

and asked us to come the next day for the final decision

The Next day they have a totally new story, all groups are cancelled and we were told to divide ourselves into 2 members per group, rumble broke up, as the general notion was, hu;s going to decide hu;s going to stick with the same project and which Member has to leave the group,

Lot of Friends were put in a difficult position as many fights broke out, many members hadn't come bk from the holidays and they didnt know the scenario here, it was every man for himself, fights ..etc

the next day the Class decided to approach the Director and explaining the nature of the problem, but after an 2 hr Debate with her, we didnt get her to agree to any of our terms, but it made us feel dat we were jst some Expendable assets and sacrificial Lambs of the College.

She explained that she earlier had made it clear to the project co-ordinators for ECE dept that she wanted Most of the Groups in College and 2 members per Group, but they Changed the Rules as they didnt have enough Faculty to support 2 member groups as the number will significantly increase.

And the report was submitted to her yesterday ( 30 days after we submitted).

So y did they make us run around like dat, when we could have submitted it now, Holidays would have been a good chance to review Project Titles.........

So the Lack of Communication between the Director and the Co-Ordinator resulted in gettin our Asses in the Vice.

in the End we were at the receiving end....

even so now we r not sure wht wil happen tomorrow, maybe 1 member per group- hu knows...............

Butt hairy

Well Dis was an very weird Place to be on Tuesday November SOme of us got to see a weird Sight, of Hair Being Pulled out of a Pulsar,

The Picture u see was taken dat very moment when dis was Done, it seems dat sme hair was found Sticking out of the Bike's Butt ( Silencer ) and The Owner obviously Dint get his bike waxed so  the Hair Build up was

Obvious.Well Da bike which's Categorised as Definitely male was Proved to be so By having Hair Pulled out of its ass, Lookin From the logical Point of View , The New Pulsar DTSI uses a Technology of Catalytic Converter and a 

Resin Muffler Which Dampens the Sound Vibration's from the Vehicle, Unlike in the Earlier Model which made   lot of noise Dint use this  Technology But was Swanky Waxed Bottom.So Next Time u see hair Sticking out of ur Bikes Butt, Dont Pull it out, its There for a reason, Same goes for you,

ABVP 20/11/2006

Well Today was an Different day for all for the College had some unexpected guests who came with full force n power,

Well the guys from The ABVP Group had a reason to believe that the college authorities held Firearms so they came in Full force to Demand and through investigation and manual Check.

Well Mr Achutarao had Stepped in like alwayz, to get a hold of the situation and the spat rose to high levels resulting in slight Nudge Between the Two groups, well finally the Group broke of shouting slogans out side the premises, with a promise to come back soon, but with more cavalry.

Well the other students who were equally alarmed at this Display of Public Affection between the ABVP and the College authorities that they went back to their classes, and waiting for updates.

For some of you who may not be acquainted with the Term ABVP it stands for ( Akhila Bharti Vidrarti Party )or in short Students Group, the core is believed to be lingering around the Osmaina University, but its also Rumoured that the ABVP has back support from Our Local Naxal groups. And according to the recent survey ABVP is also the largest Student Group in Hyderabad.

For those of you who were present at the live action are more than well come to add to the above said paragraph, by doing so can lighten up more facts on what happened today,

Cynosure

Well as u all maybe well aware of the yearly Program conducted by our college authorities, also known as Cynosure which is from the IEEE chapter,

Well as many of you may plan on taking part next year, well be aware before doing so, as it has landed up many ppl in the detained list. Even after the Assurance from the HOD and concerned lecturer's the students were denied attendance for the classes they missed during the IEEE Cynosure Program at the time when the attendance list was put up,

So dont be under false impressions dat ur attendance will be added in the End as the Director had made it clear last year itself dat no attendance will be added under any program or stuff unless its and Valid Medical Reason, And the Students attendance must above 65% to be condoned without Medical Certificate and the dates mentioned in the Medical Certificate must not clash with the register for all the dates will be checked manually.  And the dates entered must bring up your attendance to 75%.

Many of you may plan on going to IIT next year, make sure u have proper attendance like 85-90% before goin there as Attendance will not be added under any circumstance's.

Sad Demise of a Fellow Student (30-10-06)* Updated

Today wasnt a gud day for many of the students of karshak Engineering college. due to the sad demise of a fellow student of IT3 Rahul

as a sign of respect the college was closed down after the new's bearing  the sad new's was announced.

As the time passed by the clear reason came to picture of  what was the reason of the death, it seems that rahul at time of death was effect by the lethal disease "Dengue" which is caused by the Anopheles's Mosquito,

After hearing the new's many of the college management rushed to give condolences to rahul's family who were eventually shaken by the sudden death, nearly the whole class turned up at rahul's residence,

Whats more even disturbing is was when the Staff member's called upon the students to gather up below to observe silence as mark of respect to the fellow students death, but some Junior Student's thought it was some thing amusing so they had to laughed about it, so were sniggering and laughing at the time of the silence was observed.

Well dats how maybe they show respect to a dead senior let alone a fellow student,

Well we sure will sure return the favour.some time soon

Accident (XX/8/2006)

Well many of you might have heard about the accident which took place near out college, But we have got Some in dept info to it

Well The Starting Of Ganesh Chaturi Festival and Supplementary was Done with Again Smashing Bones, and Twisting of Metal'z.

Well the thing goes like dis as out KEC Official Transport Vehicle (kerosene Auto's) again led another Victims to Doom, The Victims as been identified to be as TVS Santosh Kumar(ECE-3) TVS Sirish Kumar(ECE-2) Unknown(ECE-2).They were following da Official Transport Vehicle when from the other side and Super Peerzadiguda SUV(Tractor) was approaching from the other side with high speed. It seems dat the the Victims were so aghast by the Looks of the SUV they rather went too close for comfort to have a closer look at the mean  machine, but in doin so managed to land up in hospital with injuries.

Mr Santosh was operated for an Injured Pancreas and a Metal Rod has been placed in his leg for support for the broken leg while the other;z escaped unhurt.

so next time u see an SUV from perzadiguda cus u might want to take a closer look or he might, but either of u doing so will land up only u in da hospital

Accident 28/2/2006

This year started with some bad new's

Some Girls of ECE-3 had met with an accident in an Diesel Zen in which they were Travelling, It seems dat the accident took because a truck had been parked illegally on the Uppal  Talab Road.

It seems that the car hit head on into the Truck which resulted in total Failure of Engine.

The occupants as far as we were told r ok and they just went in to get their bruises taken care of. nothing serious

KEC Bus Inuagural

20/10/05 Thursday

As we know Our College has started an Bus Service  They Didnt for us But. Any wayz Our college Busses are famous For Their Driver'z as the Bus on its Frist Ever Trip to College had An Inauguration Ceremony . The bus was inaugurated by Breaking of Bones, how Cool is dat . A Frist year ( Female ) ( Name Unknown ) Driving a NeW ScOoTy PeP overtakes the bus due to.... she avoided the bus but rammed straight into an KEC OFFICIAL KEC-UPPAL Transport Vehicle Kerosene AuTo  and surprisingly the Auto Flipped, But wasnt carrying any College passenger's.

At Approx 9:45 am a group of people arrived in an really foul Mood  and demanding money.

i Don't know how much exact amount was given to them, but for sure a lot of racket was made till10:30am outside the premises.
